Welcome to Starz Ballet®, operated by Starz Ballet Babes LLP (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By enrolling in our classes, events, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which form the basis of your relationship with us.

If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your booking or use of our services.

2. Booking and Registration

All class bookings are made through our approved booking system, currently Class4Kids. By registering your child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if a class is full or if payment is not received.

3. Payments and Membership

Starz Ballet operates a rolling monthly membership. Payments are collected automatically each month by direct debit or card payment through our booking system.

Membership payments are not linked to the number of classes running in any specific month. Instead, the total annual cost of classes is divided into equal monthly instalments for convenience. This means the same monthly payment applies regardless of school holidays or term dates.

Membership fees are non-refundable.

4. Cancelling Your Membership

You may cancel your child’s membership at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice by email to [email protected], with “CANCELLATION” in the subject line.

Once notice is received, one final monthly payment will be taken during the next billing cycle. This payment covers your 30-day notice period, during which your child is welcome to continue attending classes. After this period, your membership will end automatically and no further payments will be taken.

This works in the same way as other monthly memberships, such as a gym or TV subscription, where payments are made monthly in advance and a notice period applies when ending the membership.

This approach ensures fairness to all families and allows us to manage class sizes, staffing, and venue costs effectively.

Starz Ballet reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrolment, teacher illness, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will always aim to offer an alternative class, venue, or credit where possible.

5. Refunds and Missed Classes

Missed classes are non-refundable. Where possible, we may offer an alternative class to make up for a missed session, but this cannot be guaranteed.

If we have to cancel a class ourselves (for example, due to venue closure or staff illness), we will communicate promptly and offer an alternative class or credit where appropriate.

6. Annual Membership Fee

An annual membership fee may be payable per dancer. This covers insurance, licensing, and administrative costs associated with our programmes. The current fee is displayed on our website and within booking communications.

7. Uniform and Appearance

Dancers are expected to attend class in the appropriate Starz Ballet uniform, with hair neatly tied back and any accessories kept to a minimum. Full details of uniform expectations are available on our website or from your class teacher.

8. Health and Safety

You are responsible for notifying us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or additional needs your child may have.

Starz Ballet Babes LLP is committed to maintaining a safe environment. All teachers hold Enhanced DBS checks and follow our safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies.

9. Photography and Video

From time to time, we may take photos or videos in class or at performances for marketing or training purposes. Parental consent for photography is requested during registration and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.

10. Behaviour and Conduct

We expect all dancers, parents, and guardians to behave respectfully towards teachers, classmates, and staff at all times. Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour may result in the termination of a membership without refund.

11. Performances and Events

Starz Ballet holds theatre shows and other events throughout the year. Participation is optional. Additional costs (such as costumes, tickets, or photography) will be communicated clearly in advance.

12. Liability

Starz Ballet Babes LLP will not be liable for loss or damage to personal property brought to classes or events. Participation in classes is at your own risk, and we accept no responsibility for injuries except where caused by our negligence.

13. Intellectual Property

All class materials, choreography, branding, and digital resources are the intellectual property of Starz Ballet Babes LLP. They must not be reproduced, shared, or used for any commercial purpose without written permission.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal data collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

We use trusted third-party platforms to communicate with customers, manage bookings, and send updates:

Class4Kids (class bookings and payments)

LeadConnector (automated communications and updates)

MailerLite (newsletters and marketing communications)

By registering for classes, you agree that we may use your data to manage your bookings, communicate with you, and send updates relevant to your membership. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
